I ran for congress in 2026 and I decided to do it again for some wild reason!

Before I ran in 2026 I founded a nationwide beer collab called Hasta La Raíz.

It raised funds for Freedom for Immigrants, a non-profit supporting the fight to end detention and protect immigrant rights.

As I was putting that together I was also doing rapid response for ICE watch.

While driving around and following ICE vehicles you have a lot of time to think.

I started thinking about all the mutual aid networks I became connected to while doing that work.

I realized we’re taking care of each other while our government jerks itself off.

That’s when I knew we needed a regular, working-class human in Congress.

Not another career politician.

I registered as a Democrat and launched a six-month sprint with no name recognition and no establishment backing.

It was a steep learning curve, but I ran a campaign I was proud of: authentic, grounded, and focused on listening.

This time around, I’m doubling down on that.

I’m tired of hearing “you should be doing this” or “you should be doing that.”

Politicians have spent too long dancing around issues.

I’m not here to impose my ideas on how to fix things; there are already brilliant folks on the ground doing that work.

I’m here to learn from them, amplify their voices, and remove the barriers standing in their way.

I’m not running to build a legacy or launch a political career.

I’m running because I know we, as the people, hold the real power.

It’s time to put that power to the test against the establishment.

Stop waiting for politicians to save us.

Let’s stop putting ourselves in boxes and start working together.
